closer then ever

Have any of you felt the feeling of being able to almost have something in your reach but you still cannot grab it. That feeling is probably the worst feeling you could ever feel. When you know your getting closer and closer but then you just give it up in a way. It's weird when someting starts to get good, then something happens or comes along. Its all bad.
