shoe game = whip game or "the darkside"

Cars, cars, cars, cars, cars. Thats all we talk about as Catherine would say. Gil, Marco, Ricky, Shawn, and I. Do you remember when you went to the movies to watch the Fast and the Furious # 1, and you saw those crews. All with different cars, girls, colors and sizes. That shit actually exist believe it or not. After I got my car, I was shown another culture besides the kicks (sneaker) game. A culture that you let your car do the talking for you, instead of your shoes. I'll always be one of those sneaker fanatics but not as heavy into as I was before. Camping out 3pm to open, checking on release dates, and even spending 200+ on A SINGLE PAIR OF SHOES. I know its crazy.

This can also apply the same to cars if you really think about it. Pretty much the more you spend the better shoe you get. Getting that rare shoe no one has also could be used in car lingo. Also quality over quantity, instead of buying hella shit for your car only get the nice and hard to find parts that set your "collection" apart from another. Honestly everything is pretty much the same but more expensive and harder to find.

I think in my personal view, this would be ...... a transition to being grown up or more elderly in a way? I remember going to a friends house and their older brothers and friends making fun of kids posting which shoes they have. They talked about them like they were childish or something. If you can get what I'm saying. Instead, they posted their cars they owned on Myspace. Super funny because "I was one of those kids that flaunted their shoes" hahaha. I was going to say something but I probably would have been ridiculed.

As I think back I rememeber talking about shoes EVERYDAY. Seriously every freaking day, which shoes I was planning on getting, talking to the select few that were into shoes at our school, looking at peoples shoes like it was a religion to us. SHOES, SHOES, SHOES, SHOES, SHOES. But now if you have not noticed its about the cars. Most of my friends (Jay, Marco, Adam, Felix, Fred and maybe Kevin) sold most of our shoes for car parts. Even on the phone to Catherine always shoes, but now its cars and she gets over whelmed. Have you noticed I haven't talked about shoes in days? This is to her .. lol.

Its just another hobby, and I guess another way to meet people and stay united with one another. Get together from other parts of the country and enjoy the same thing. Instead of a Dunk exchange its a Car meet. All in the same way as sneakers.


Anyways after that essay hahaha if your still with me. Were not really a crew or anything we just all cruise together.

Turboed Miata super sleeper, he bought this car for 400 dollars completely smashed in front end. And look 1000 dollars later it runs and has a turbo. Its the fastest out of the bunch.
