Enlightened

My schedule for school is somewhat complete, and settled in. Monday/Wed 730 class then class at 11. Tuesday/Thur class from 9 then class at 12. Maybe, just maybe a Friday class. Monday might change because ARC english classes and the school is so congested. This girl I am sitting next to in the cafeteria as I write this said, "ARC has 10,000 more students then Sac State" which means ARC is at 38,000 compared to Sac State 27,000. That is Unbelievable. Reason why 1.) It is cheaper, Reason 2.) Its cheaper, and Reason 3.) it is cheaper. Parking is nuts, it is raining, Jay Jay is late to his class, and I have a off day today. Well there is probably more variables that also play into our compacted school. Budget cuts most importantly. This means fewer classes for everyone to take so registration is pretty much a fight for placing. More students crammed in classes, longer wiating lists, and class prices are even more expensive. Oh and parking is super hard. Getting to school 2 hours early just to get a good spot. This is also on top of the 10,000 extra individuals with their own cars. I've seen people get in fist fights for just parking spots.

This is where Change is suppose to happen. Our new president just announced his Inaugural address as of January 20th, 2009. What an epic occurance in our presidential history. Another girl that is next to me was just talking about her beliefs and thought system about the whole election. She says "I travel, and every since we (United States of America) has elected Obama the world has been all for joy for our country" "I like his positive message, morals, and values" as vaguely states. I would of thought everyone else (the rest of the world) would actually be inferior about our new presidency. I guess not. I believe its more then being the first black president, but a new slate to start something new. Out of all of he makes the most sense, well at least for just your average like myself. He is more down to earth, you know .. like your homie you would kick it with. Well .. who do you know that will build a full court basketball gym in the white house. No one but my man .. Mr. President himself, Barack Obama. Enlightened, and looking for more to learn.
